Why work with Dr Frazer

Curriculum is her craft

Dr Mariette Frazer is a leadership scholar and curriculum innovator at the University of Johannesburg. Her doctoral research produced a leadership pedagogy for developing future-ready graduates, and she has spent two decades designing, registering and rebuilding academic programmes — from individual modules to entire qualification pathways.

She pioneered UJ's retail programme growth into the university's first Advanced Diploma in Retailing and Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Retailing, chaired the Wholesale & Retail SETA's Higher Education Quality Management Body, mentors academics in programme development, and co-edited Oxford University Press's Retail Management: A South African Perspective. What she offers is rare: research-grade rigour with the practical scars of someone who has actually built curricula that work.
